In 2015 most people wouldn’t think animal cruelty is a huge problem if you don’t follow news reports, animal activist pages, or even my Facebook page. Many acts of animal abuse happen every day in the world, brutal punishments for little things animals can’t control happens or just careless people owning or seeing animals they don’t care about and wanting to hurt them. In just 2015 we have had a ridiculous amount of cases involving cruelty. Local and worldwide organizations are taking a stand and rescuing or trying to protect the animals that are given beatings, being neglected, hunted, and abused physically and emotionally every day. Millions of people over the world believe in animal rights and serving justice against the people who have …show more content…
They are a non-profit animal rescue foundation. They take the streets of California when called about abused or abandon dogs and all other animals, their role is to rescue and nurse them back to help then set them up for adoption. A worldwide organization that is well known is the WWF, World Wildlife foundation. The WWF is a profitable wildlife animal organization, people can pay $55 to adopt an animal endanger or any of the protected species they have on their website. These are just two examples of local and worldwide animal rescue and protection foundations. There’s recorded to be 170 world known organizations and many other small business in small towns or big cities. An example of a small town organization in Parrsboro is the TNR, which stand for trap neuter and release, it was started in 2013 by a group of older women who loved cats. They started setting up traps for homeless cats so they could get them neutered and them set them up for adoption or simply put them in a warm building. All over the world people are taking a stand and helping rescue wildlife and domestic animals, a lot of species are endanger and do need protected from predators, meaning
