Persuasive Speech: Oh Council Of Practice Rooms

Improved Essays
Oh Council of Music, the time has come to address a grave and dreadful issue

regarding the vile and insolent outsiders who have been invading our own practice

rooms. We have a policy that you have set in place which truthfully states: “practice

rooms are reserved for students only.” We also have in-room rules that declare: “no

eating, close the door, don’t touch the AC, and turn off the light when done.” However,

these infiltrators rebelliously break most to all of those laws, and they shouldn’t even

be entering because they’re not even students-even if they may insist that they are!!!

Even if we tell them to leave and report them to you, they keep rebelliously resisting our

orders anyway, making any attempts to banish them

I request that our practice rooms

require keys all day long, rather than only at night for our own safety, necessary

practicing, and mental sanity! We don’t need to grow grey strands during our youth

from guests (or should I say invaders) ravaging our facilities!

The easily accessible nature of our precious and valuable practice rooms are having

a fatal effect on the students who use them. Imbecile trespassers are taking up

available spaces that students could be using to clock in those hours that they need

for that crucial competition, recital, or audition that could make or break their

reputation or make a name for themselves! There has been one small-minded

undesirable who “closed” a piano by resting half of the lid on the music desk…twice!

There have also been many outsiders who use our essential spaces for teaching, and a

wicked shenanigan who requests critique on his playing to students who are

practicing! That disturbing shenanigan could continuously insist until death that he’s a

student, but he illogically changes what major he has every time! What absolute and corrupt

More Canadians than ever seem to prefer flying out of U. S. airports to reach their destinations. This is largely due to the cost efficiency of catching a flight from a facility such as SeaTac Airport instead of a Canadian airport. If you are driving to SeaTac to catch a flight, you probably wish to find a parking facility with affordable rates, and you’ll certainly want to be sure that your car is left in a safe place. Like countless fellow Canadians, you may well appreciate the low prices, convenience, and other benefits of leaving your vehicle at an off-site SeaTac Airport parking lot, such as Aeroparking’s Park & Fly lot. Quick Access to SeaTac Airport One of the top benefits of long-term parking with Aeroparking is the quick trip…

Depressed and hungry, he searches for a rare telephone booth, that he hopes will be in working order. After a search that has taken him the majority of the day, he spies one on the corner of a Seven Eleven. If the Newseum is torn down, the first amendment will not have a place to be celebrated just for itself, so there will be no place to celebrate the first American Constitutional freedom. President Trump is pressuring Congress into passing a bill that will start a project to make room for new monuments. The project will consist of tearing down monuments that the government feels are unnecessary. The project will ruin DC and the American spirit. If the bill does pass, the Newseum should definitely not be torn down since it is a reminder of what America is, it will have horrible economic effects on the country, and tearing it down will diminish the American spirit.…

Dodie, Amazing post, and might I add this post was very well-written. You made several great points, and I agree with you on all of them. You choose five really good causes and symptoms of students with TBIs. It’s scary to think that all you wanted to do was watch your child play a sport, and not get hurt, especially with a TBI.
