Well, I’m going to tell you a story about a man. This man was driving a sedan about 35 miles per hour down a four lane road. While he is driving, his car slowly drifts into the opposite lane, this man, is asleep. The first car in the lane veres to the right, avoiding the unconscious man. The second car misses him, barely. And the third car notices the driver of the car directly in front of her is asleep. This woman is hit, head on by the sleeping man. This woman was my mother. Meaning, in the end, without a good night’s sleep you may be causing a strain in your current relationships. Also without knowing it, you may be acting rude and impatient to people around you, people who you could have possibly built a friendship. So incidentally, sleep deprivation fails the third test also.
Lastly, the fourth and final test, will it be beneficial to all concerned? And in this case the answer is yes. The monster that is sleep deprivation can only be fought with one weapon, a weapon that we all have in our possession, sleep. Therefore, a good night’s sleep is definitely beneficial to all
