Introduction Milk is the ultimate superfood, right? Only if you're a calf. I'll tell you why these things are terrible for you and why cow milk should not be part of our diet.

Preview of Main Points I'll be covering what cow's milk is, what is in it, and what it actually does to our bodies.

Body Main Point 1 A cow's milk is designed to nourish her baby calf. A woman's breast milk is designed to nourish our baby humans. We aren't supposed to interchange breast milk between species. In fact, humans are the only species on the planet who take breast milk away from other animals for their own consumption. You have to question yourself why man is so ready to steal a liquid secretion from the breasts of animals and drink it, cook with it, mix it into all sorts of creations to eat,

Sure there is calcium and vitamin D in cow's milk, but the animal proteins actually prevent calcium absorption. You can get much more calcium from leafy green vegetables and beans. Getting your recommended daily dose of vitamin D can be as easy as being out in the sun for 5-15 minutes. Cows are pumped full of growth hormones for a couple reasons. Farmers want them bigger so they can get more meat out of them, and they want them to produce more milk. More meat and milk equals fatter wallets for them. These cows are over stimulated to produce 4x the amount of milk that they would produce normally for their baby. This over production of milk causes mastitis. For those of us who nursed our children and experienced mastitis, we know it is an extremely painful and debilitating experience. But I digress. To treat this illness in cows, they are then pumped with antibiotics. So these hormones, the antibiotics, and any pus, blood, and bacteria from these abused and sore nipples all trickle down into the
