Persuasive Speech: Blue Angels (PTA)

Hi all,
I now have everyone's email updated on my list, but I strongly encourage you to work together to disseminate information, too. As your president, Brittany is your primary contact and should be distributing information to you. If you miss meetings, you should contact her and find out how to catch up. I am genuinely worried about the Blue Angels PTA board's ability to work together. If the 4 of you can't make time to meet together it's affecting more than just this year's PTA. All you have to do is call: 1-712-775-7035 enter code: 179126# and it will ask you to "announce yourself" this is just to state your name let everyone know you are on the line. My board often relies on calls like this because we are all busy with jobs, kids, school and other commitments; but we understand we have made a commitment to this group too. Having phone conferences instead of in person meetings helps us fulfill this duty. This is late enough that everyone will be home and can join the meeting from the comfort of their home (that's right, meeting in your jammies!). You all should do the same. Brainstorm how you can set up board meetings that will work for everyone, even if you have to get creative. Keymi wrote me with another great idea: perhaps you all could attend one of PGE's board meetings so you can see what role each position takes and how each position is required to make the whole. I will, of course, ask for my board's approval first, but I am certain each of them would love to help. We can also call on any of the ECC PTA board members to meet with your board. I would only ask that everyone must attend such a meeting. I would personally be embarrassed to set up a meeting, asking others to come help, and have no one show

If the Newseum is torn down, the first amendment will not have a place to be celebrated just for itself, so there will be no place to celebrate the first American Constitutional freedom. President Trump is pressuring Congress into passing a bill that will start a project to make room for new monuments. The project will consist of tearing down monuments that the government feels are unnecessary. The project will ruin DC and the American spirit. If the bill does pass, the Newseum should definitely not be torn down since it is a reminder of what America is, it will have horrible economic effects on the country, and tearing it down will diminish the American spirit.…

An interest group is a collection of people who try to influence politics or the policies of government, business, etc., in a way that helps their own interests. The power of an interest group varies depending on the time and specific group, but generally speaking, their power and presence remains a constant on the political scene today. Today, countless interest groups are trying to address the issue of the rising cost of education in the U.S. If I or individuals like myself, who just finished taking an introduction to Political Science class in college, were interested in addressing the rising cost of education in the U.S., the best way this could be accomplished would be to establish a public interest group to inform the public about the…
