2. I feel that public schools should not be the kind of schools that tell you what to wear. They take away our pride and our right to be able to wear what we want to and no person has the right to tell us that we must wear a school uniform.
3. Because they themselves reject our opportunity of freedom, I am against school uniforms.

Lastly, a final reason why I am against school uniforms is because school uniforms do not help families with the cost of their clothes.
First off, school uniforms cost a lot. Second, there are 7 days in a week, 168 hours in one week. For 120 of those hours, we are at school with the uniforms no extra clothes. But what about those extra 48 days and other breaks throughout the school year? Do we wear our school uniforms everyday, regardless of school? No. On the weekends and other events, parents still buy regular clothes for their kids so they can wear something different everyday.
According to Newsela, “The students were also less interested in wearing expensive designer clothing for school, which saved their families money.” This is not the case. School uniforms may not be designer, but the price is still a fortune to some families, however. Having school uniforms might also encourage students to try to persuade the school board to give them back their freedom because they are not wearing something they are interested in.
In reality, parents do not conserve money because their child has worn a
