It may not be your fault but you’re handing over devastating news that would potentially destroy the person’s feelings and day, so by saying it’s YOU takes some weight off their shoulders.
STEP THREE: while in the park or a place of choice, ask to take a walk with the person. While walking start off by telling the person you’ve been thinking lately and recently came to a conclusion that being in a relationship with them is not quite healthy for you at the moment. Now they’re going to ask why or something in that ball park. It’s time to pull out your speech.
It’s time for the moment of truth. Your speech should be nothing but the truth you don’t have to be harsh while telling the person why you can’t be with them but you shouldn’t lie. Lying is just as worst as cheating. Trust me I learned my lesson.

Throughout my lifetime, there has been moments of laughter as well as grief. But a moment in my life that was pivotal was when I first felt the love of my life, at the moment, fade away slowly from me and sort of detach from our relationship. The song by Christian Nodal- “Adios Amor” showed me how at times when the love fades between partners to the point where there is no love at all, you have to do your best to move on rather than spending time grieving the love that is lost. Therefore, the song “Adios Amor” gave me the tough realization that some relationships are best to let go of if they don’t work as a young adult, and will continue to guide me throughout my life.…

In Kitchen Table Wisdom, Dr. Rachel Remen offers countless stories demonstrating the importance of creating a medical environment that fosters intimacy, vulnerability, and a willingness to accept the hardest moments of human life. In Remen’s book, these moments all center around death and dying. Through storytelling, Remen is able to illuminate the hidden stories and feelings associated with death, the uncertainty of death, and the fear of losing a loved one. Remen demonstrates that only by breaking away from the bureaucratic and emotionless medical narrative, and instead, by simply offering open ears and a hand to hold for those who are most afraid, can create a sense of inner-peace and an acceptance of death for those dying of terminal illnesses.…

Suicide is also part of our Gospel heritage. It is clear that Judas killed himself after betraying Jesus. Like Old Testament, New Testament writers condemned Judas for betraying Jesus, but say nothing about his suicide. Early Christian’s attitudes towards suicide are hard to evaluate. Some scholars suggest that Christianity’s ambivalence about suicide rests in the central images of crucifixion; Scripture affirms that Jesus chose the way of the cross.…

I believe that altruism is a fundamental principle of medical professionalism and is both an interesting and challenging aspect of it. Altruism is ultimately showing selfless concern for other people and doing what is in the individuals’ best interests and not yours. I think that being altruistic is one of the best ways to be professional in a medical environment because by putting another person’s well-being before your own not only shows the respect you have for the medical fraternity but also your duty and the commitment you have towards your patients. I feel that admitting that you have made a mistake is challenging regardless of the circumstances.…
