On a Saturday afternoon, Scarlet was minding her own business, trying on new makeup she had bought in a beauty store. She was testing different shades of eyeshadow and lipstick.

"Matte black, golden and mandarin. Perfect!" exclaimed Scarlet.

"Now, let me help you put that girl stuff on your face..." insisted Jude as they had a frivolous grin on their face.

Scarlet accepted Jude's offer, Jude has smeared lipstick and Midnight Black eyeshadow all over Scarlet's face.

"I nailed it! I'm so great and awesome!" said Jude.

Jude salivated and choked with laughter.

"Judy! What have you done to my face?!" hissed Scarlet

"Nothing, I just painted a war on your face."

Scarlet gently touches the mess Jude made on her face.

"You'll pay for this!"

"That's really far!" worried Scarlet.

"Trust me, you're just over-exaggerating" said Jude.

Scarlet insisted on using a vehicle instead of walking. Jude accepted that idea knowing them themself will get really tired.

"But before we find who was calling us, could I text some of my friends to come with us first?" asked Scarlet.

"Sure sure, hopefully it's not going to take you a millennium to text them stuff..."

They both exited their dorm and went outside.

Jude laid down on the nearest bench where Scarlet was sitting.

"We are going to a--" read off Scarlet.

"Let's do this already! I'm bored out of my friggin' mind!" interrupted Jude.

"Fine." replied Scarlet.

Scarlet quickly texted three of her friends Rose, Kat, and Pink their location.

"I'm done"

"Fine-all-eee" Jude exclaimed in a sing-song tone.

"They'll be waiting for us where the caller lives." said Scarlet.

Jude put the location on their GPS. "We're ready to go!" notified Jude.

"Um, wait... it says it takes us only 5 minutes to walk there? The heck?" realized Jude.

"Stupid glitches! Work you stupid frick!" Jude complained as they continuously hit their phone

"We can still use mine." insisted Scarlet.

"Yeah, it won't be as stupid as my phone..." Jude replied.

Scarlet put the location, the location couldn't be found on her phone.

"I give up! We're not going to ever find that idiot who called you! Nevermind! Throw that idea in the trash!" whined Jude.

Jude made fists with both hands and waved them up in the air.

Scarlet still had hope, and decided to walk there instead. Jude wasn't very fond of that idea, but they played along anyway.

Scarlet and Jude took a long walk through a neighborhood they've never seen before, it looked rather abandoned and resorted. Trash everywhere, overgrown grass and creepy worn down houses.

"I really want to go home now." thought Scarlet.

"Hey! There's a house with lights on!" exclaimed Jude.

"Cool." replied Scarlet.

"Wanna go knock on the door to see if anyone is there?" asked Jude.

"Uh, I don't th--" replied

My advice to makayla is to never get stuck on one question no longer than five minutes. It's okay to skip a question and come back to it later once you have answer all of the other questions. It's also okay to guess intelligently on some of the questions. I feel that you shouldn't always linger on the same questions, because that can cause you to loose most of you time on the test. For my final genre, I decided to do another persuasive genre. Persuasive genres are really good when trying to capture an audience and make them really think about the topics that you bring to the table. However, for this persuasive genre I took a different approach and created A Top Six Reasons Why list. This list is targeted towards younger adults at least of voting age and older. I created this genre to help the audience be informed about all of the advantages that would come out of lowering the legal drinking age in the United States.…
