Introduction
Success in today's dynamic, globalized, fast paced business environment requires companies to be innovative. Competition is especially hard for small to medium sized businesses and startups. What is the key to emerge and be successful? Many business scholars will say “innovation,” “low prices,” “strategy,” “good marketing” etc. These offerings are certainly important, but one thing that may help you to brand yourself and grow in your Community/ State and then in the country is to first use your profits to do good in the world to show the community and customers that you care.

Company was recently recognized as Montgomery County’s Small Business of the Year for their innovations, growth and community focus (Montgomery Economic Development).
United Solutions is increasing its brand awareness every day by creative business strategy, on time delivery of innovative solutions, and being one of the fastest growing startup in the county. The Washington DC metro area is a very competitive area, especially around Rockville, and it is becoming an incubator of IT start ups. United Solutions wants to continue fast growth and to win over the consumers, and for that company needs good reputation and brand awareness; what is the best way to gain community trust other than letting them know and show that you care about them?

Also, increase brand awareness not only between the consumers, but also other small or medium size businesses, may be even large companies and definitely get state government attention.
Cost vs. Benefit
The cost of the activities will be lower compared to the value it will bring to the company. Let’s say one employee’s hour is worth $30. If the company sends this person to one of MHP community places to teach kids working in Microsoft Word once in every week, the cost will be $120/month. But overall the company will gain more than it spends in terms of branding, reputation, word of mouth, throughout spread the community, and the impact on its own employees.
United Solutions already has the necessary infrastructure and contacts in the county, including Community Foundation, so the company can host an event and invite other government/ non-government organizations to introduce them to MHP. It will help MHP to gain more funds/ sponsors and on the other hand, it will give United Solutions name
