Dear Principal Dr. Anthony Davis,
How are you doing today? I have a serious question to ask you. Would you please allow us to go on a field trip to Lava Beds National Monument. This trip would be amazingly exciting.
Lava Beds National Monument is located in the state of California. California calls the monument their "best-kept secret." This is because not everyone knows about this beautiful sighting park. The park was formed when it was uncovered by lava and many active volcanoes were erupting. Do not worry, they are not active anymore. Also, underground lava tubes were formed as well. Lave tubes are like these long underground slides with lava glowing in them. I know what you are thinking, this do not sound safe. Sturdy shoes, jackets, helmets, knee pads, and flashlights will be provided right along with a safety tour guide. The average temperature inside the caves are fifty-five degrees Fahrenheit, so we should be good.

We could take the trip at the end of the year. By that time we should have been able to do fundraisers, bake sales, yard sales, donations, and many much to raise money. The teachers could start selling snacks and drinks at lunch and put that money into the big trip account. The teachers could search for hotels along the way that would maybe give us a discount because we are a school. Thinking about it, this trip will be too long to go on regular buses, so we would have to rent like two charter buses. It takes thirty-seven hours to get from Pearson to California. That is only two days and a half. Also, we could get some parent and extra teacher chaperones. I am pretty sure that they would not
