A lot more participation awards are given out to people who barely even try.Most of America wants to stop this immediately, what I will be discussing is the reason that these “awards” should stop.
One of the many reasons is, that these will not prepare children for adulthood. To back it up, some children will think EVERYTHING will be given to them. Which is a bad thing, because they will do bad in school and not try.
To keep this train a movin’, it will not push them to work harder.For a prime example, if they get something. Like a trophy, for doing nothing it will not push them to try harder. This will also make them not go for higher grades in school.
