Dear Gwyn,

I had no idea that my gum chewing bothered you, I do not try to be distracting. I’m sorry for your concerns but, chewing gum helps me get more work done. I would love to offer some kind of solution to your problem. This weekend I will buy some lifesavers instead of gum. I appreciate that you contacted me about this, I don’t want to be a distracter in the office.
