Cloaking in white calls back the previous two times Sansa was covered by Sandor’s white cloak: after she was stripped and beaten in court and after the failed “wife-stealing” of the Blackwater. So the bed in this passage becomes the marriage bed after the cloaking ceremony. It’s not simply a matter of “knowing what happens” in the marriage bed, but a place to confess her desires as a mature and enthusiastically willing bride. Eyes open and no cold feet!
