Persuasive Letter 14 Year Old Me

Dear 14 year old me, why didn’t you look at the bathroom signs more closely at that school where your volleyball game was. I know you were deep in conversation with Katelyn, but really, one of you should have noticed the sign. The second time you went into the men’s bathroom was at a Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Service, that is a dressy event, not meant for little girls in dresses to be using the wrong bathroom. I suppose no one was helping you the first two times you walked into the wrong bathrooms, but the third time was this year, not to mention, you had a friend with you! It’s even worse when there’s a guy in the restroom at the …show more content…
You didn’t have music prepared so your mom came right before your audition and found a youtube karaoke video you could use that you hadn’t practiced with. Not to mention, your mom yelled at you in front of all the other kids who were auditioning. You had previously practiced the song with your friend a couple times one day. One day is not enough practice. Trust me. You got into your audition and one of the judges was your 5th grade teachers. You weren’t very nervous until you walked into the gym. The judges started your song and you missed the beginning. They restarted the song, knowing you were nervous, and you missed your cue again. Your friend was starting to look at you like why aren’t you singing? You missed your cue three times and the judges told you, maybe next year if you're more prepared. You felt like crying, but you didn’t. Then, when you got into the hallway another girl told the whole hallway that I cried. You were very angry at that girl, but you just left. Always prepare for

Dear Editor, During this constitutional convention, I’ve noticed things that were said on the federalist and the anti-federalist side. I have taken the side of the federalist and agreed completely on what they all have said. We have covered all subjects such as: Separation of powers/checks and balances, the elastic clause, Congressional powers of taxation and war, and A bill of rights. When discussing the separation of powers, we all agreed that having a checks and balances system would suit us best; therefore, there won’t be any one person in charge there would be three branches of government.…

The song was “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, which I recognized vaguely. However, the…
