Many zoos have small enclosures which are way too small for the animal and cause many problems. “Living in such confinement, elephants are prone to arthritis, foot problems and even premature death.” Animals become distressed in their cages and begin pacing, bobbing their heads, and shifting their weight boredly. This shows that the cages become instantly uncomfortable and extremely boring, thus proving that they are unhealthy and too tiny.
