Normally kids come to school not eating breakfast and expect some food. The food probably isn't decent right? Well maybe a 2 breadsticks labeled as french toast works for some kids. What I’m trying to say is that kids may not have enough money for food so they don't get the full mean. Their kind of forced to eat it because of their hunger. One other reason is that so many kids skip lunch by saying “I'm not hungry” because they prefer not to eat such terrible lunches. Half of kids at

Not eating food has a big effect on children education. When you don't eat your not focusing on the main work. You focus on what you want to eat and other random things that have nothing to do with school. When A student doesn't eat at lunch it's making an affect on the student's rest of the day. Your body needs food to keep it running and have energy. Without food your going to be more tired and lazy and less focused. Students should bring or be provided with snack before classes therefore they can have the right thinking paths.

With the food that the cafeteria is giving kids we still are missing one of the most important things, Nutrition. Nutrition is a big thing in a child's day. They need enough to make it through school. With School lunches it a big greasy blob of nothing. With real food we can boost up the nutrition making it so that the kids have enough energy to learn and to stay healthy.

So What Ive summed up is that the food it bad for you. Has no nutrition that kids need to survive in school. Also has a huge affect on students education. Another thing is that school lunches can be expensive. $2-$3 For a lunch every day? Thats a lot of money getting wasted on blobs of food. If enough people get together and make a ‘get better food’ Club we might actually make a change. We might actually get good decent

In conclusion, it is crucial for schools to have healthy lunches for the students. Healthy lunches will enhance students' academic abilities, will lower the high childhood obesity percentages, and with fewer absences, the students will have less stress regarding make-up work. In most cases, all kids hate coming to school in general, but what we really hate is school lunch. Granted not all schools face this problem, but they kids that do, well it causes a few problems. I am lactose intolerant, therefor I can’t eat most things that my school cafeteria has to offer, some kids just plain don’t like the way our food is made or served, and lastly kids who have a “higher income and can’t get free lunch” don’t always have the money to spend $20 a week for a tiny lunch, and sometimes won’t eat till they get home. Therefore, I feel like one of the biggest problems we face in school is our lunch. First of all, there should be more items of food for those of us who can’t quite process that type of food properly.…

Certain kids have different experiences with their school’s lunches, but it’s safe to assume that the majority of children do not enjoy them one bit. At a school in LA, one child says “The healthier it gets the more disgusting it is” which is just another reason why healthy school lunches are not a good idea. Some children at the school can barely describe what “it” is. Kids want to eat what tastes good, not what tastes like garbage, no matter how good it is for them. It’s not just the taste though; it’s the serving size as well.…
