Employers are looking for more experienced workers for the position. College graduates gain experience and interpersonal skills. Students work along side and interact with other students, professors, organizations, and clubs. Jobs require teamwork amongst co-workers, students attending college are stated to “Develop mature interpersonal relationships… and interpersonal skills as the most important skill used in their daily lives” (ProCon.org). A quote from Greenstein and Merisotis, “education is the clearest and best way to develop talent and build the skills so important to our country 's economic and social well-being” (Greenstein and Merisotis), education can help reduce economic inequality building and improving on skills and talent in the workforce. Advancing education will create more opportunities for employment and develop more jobs, college education will be crucial in proving more jobs. Since more jobs will require a higher education, the Georgetown University, “project that in 2018, approximately 63% of jobs will require some college education or a degree” (ProCon.org). As jobs are advancing, college education will become a requirement. An increase in the demand for jobs requiring a degree, with a result in the unemployment rate will lower.
