Persuasive Essay: We Need To Save The Ocean

Did you know that millions of tons of trash is carelessly dumped into the ocean each year? Affecting the also millions of animals that live there? We need to stop this. Although many people are trying to help save our oceans, they cannot keep up with all the other people throwing plastic, glass, oil, and other deadly waste in the sea. There should be more of us helping the situation.

Because of oil spills, many animals die or get injured because they get stuck in the sticky and toxic oil. Because they get stuck and potentially no longer an swim, they get washed ashore. They are unable to hunt for food, take care of their family, and stay hydrated.

When a sea turtle sees a plastic bag floating around the ocean, it will think that the plastic
