Additionally, taking a vacation is another strategy that can be useful when it comes to coping with stress in the workplace. I strongly believe that the best way to be successful in any workplace is by taking a vacation when you think your body is in need of rest. Cambridge dictionary defines a vacation as "a time when someone does not go to work or school but is free to do what they want, such as travel or relax." I clearly define what a vacation is because often time when people think of a vacation they are busy focusing on going away but this is not the case. A vacation can be as simple as taking time to relax at home from the work environment as well. Taking regular vacation gives individuals a chance to get their mind together. Scott 2016 states "a good amount of time away from the stresses of daily life can give us the break we need so that we can return to our lives refreshed and better equipped to handle …show more content…
Stress is always present in our everyday life. It can have both a positive and a negative impact on an individual's life. However, the best way to cope with stress is by dealing with it immediately before it escalates into greater problems. Even though we encounter stress in our everyday life there is nothing in this world can stop us from finding ways to cope with such problem. There are so many things one can do to cope with the stress he or she faces in his or her workplace which includes getting adequate rest, taking regular vacations, promoting healthy meal/healthy living and exercising regularly. I can assure you that once you take these coping strategies into consideration then there is nothing in this world can prevent you from being yourself again.
