No matter if someone loves or hates FIFA video games, there is always excitement around the newest FIFA release amongst soccer fans. This year’s excitement is centered on FIFA 16, the newest installment in the FIFA series. Many hope that FIFA 16 would be the game that would fix all of the bugs and problems set in FIFA 15 and as of right now, it is that game. As with any new FIFA video game, there is always new features added in order to appeal to new or continuing fans. Even though FIFA 16 is an improved game over FIFA 15, it still possesses some negative aspects. One of FIFA 16’s new features is the addition of woman soccer teams, which has never been seen in past FIFA titles. Playing with a woman’s team, rather than the traditional men’s team, is definitely an enjoyable and different experience. FIFA players are no longer restricted in choosing from a …show more content…
Beginning with the defense, defensive players actually do what they are supposed to do, which is defend the other team from scoring. This was one of FIFA 15’s most frustrating aspects because the defense simply did not defend. They would let the attack glide right past them and cause a goal to be scored. What also didn’t help the situation was that the goalkeepers would allow the most ridiculous shots to enter the goal. As time progressed, the terrible defense and goal keeping made FIFA 15 non-enjoyable. In FIFA 16, this issue is resolved. The goalkeeper is now more agile and quicker on their feet and this helps them from blocking many more shots from the opposing team. The defense is now more aggressive when contending for the ball and does not allow the attack to pass right through them anymore. In addition, the defense intersects more passes from the opposing team in order to prevent an attack from developing. The improved defense and goalkeeping brings the user and more enjoyable and less frustrating experience when playing the
