School is an institution forced upon the youth to free them of their ignorance. Students wouldn’t complain as much to attend a school that truly teaches them information that they would use in their life-time. While students are being forced to learn different languages they should be learning how to cook or how to do their taxes. There is a better chance that a person would need to learn how to balance a checkbook more than they would need to learn about the former royalty of England. There is so much that school can actually teach us in our everyday lives that when a person walks into the classroom and has to sit through so much irrelevant information the boredom takes over and they completely lose interest in the subject. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Twain have a built successful lives without finishing their education. They took it upon themselves to be educated and make a better life without going through the constant routine of going to class for eight hours five times a week. Everyone that leaves school may not be a great success because our world puts so much importance on a college education that people who may not believe college education is not that important, have to fight over menial jobs. Individuals without a higher education are not completely wrong for not wanting to further their learning at an institute. If people were educated on something that is more relatable to their own lives and flexible to their schedule, they would be interested on learning more because it will help them be better at what they want to do with the rest of their life.
