Persuasive Essay: The First Day Of Middle School

How many incoming sixth grade students wonder about the new challenges of middle school? Students worried about the change often discover it's not really that bad. In middle school I have made new friends,adjusted to being responsible for a phone , and learned the importance of being punctual.
Making new friends is a big part of starting a new school. Typically multiple elementary schools merge together into one middle school, thereby making it scary, but fun to make new friends. On the very first day of middle school I was introduced to many extraordinary new people that I had never met before. Going back to school was also really nice because I got to catch up with old friends. The new school year allowed everyone a chance to exchange stories they experienced during the summer. Lastly, a lot of people changed over the summer. The friend groups in middle school are differnt from the friend groups in elementary school. Memorizing a full day’s schedule can be difficult. Since everyone has about eight classes, being in the right class at the right time is super important. I remember on the first day of school, I got lost and went to PE when I was supposed to be in Social Studies. Luckily the teachers were lenient the first week of school. Being able to do so many things, such as opening my locker and changing for PE, in a limited amount of time is significantly stressful. Keeping your locker organized at all times is crucial when there is only four minutes between classes. Everyone’s worst fear is their locker getting jammed, which could ultimately lead to a tardy. If the tardy bell rings, tardy passes are issued to the students that are late. The teachers are never pleased when their students show up late to their class. The scary part is that tardies go on your school
