When it comes to your attention that bullying is happening, you should take action immediately by talking to the learner that is bullying. You must try find the reason for why the child is bullying other children because often it is the case that there is problems at home such as lack of attention, physical abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, lack of parental presence and so forth. You should get the parents of the bully and the target involved and have follow up meetings to see if things are getting better. It is also important that you do work with the bully as he/she may he experiencing issues no one is aware of.
