Calling on taxpayers to pay for an exploration that will not directly benefit them is outrageous. Most taxpayers’ pay taxes towards 9 other brackets that are far more important than paying toward space exploration. Taxpayers should be paying taxes that directly benefit them. A pie chart and table in source c show that that when compared to a dollar, $0.06 goes to “all others”, including space exploration, while a mere $0.04 goes to education, training, employment and social services. This means that most of the money spent on exploring space, is used to build spacecraft’s and the $0.02 difference is used to employ and train space analyst, the select few that may benefit from space exploration. Because such an elite group of individuals share the data from space exploration among themselves, money spent on the explorations should be spent on earth, where the majority
