Persuasive Essay: Should Sport Hunting Be Humane?

When people hear “sport hunting” bad images and thoughts can often come to mind. Maybe those images are of a hunter standing over his trophy kill or maybe it’s the animal experiencing a slow, agonizing death. The thing is, most people don’t even have much knowledge of the topic and this can lead them to believe anything they hear about sport hunting. I say sport hunting should be legal. Let me start off by saying one thing about sport hunting; it is not unnecessarily cruel to animals. A hunter’s goal is to be as humane as possible. They strive to get the cleanest, most accurate shot the first time to the vital organs so the animal doesn’t have to suffer. This is for the sake of the hunter and the animal.
