Should Pit Bulls be Legal Is your pet capable of murder?! Probably not, but in Illinois there was a man who owned a pit bull. He left it chained up in his backyard and never gave it much attention. When he did give it the attention he would only teach him games like tug-a-war and such. One afternoon his neighbour's kids were outside playing. The dog overheard them and escaped from his chain to run over to the little girl, jump on her, and bite her to receive the toy. He thought he was playing seeing as that's the only way he knew how too. So a little girl is sent to the hospital and a dog is put down owing to the fact that his owner didn't properly take care of them.
