Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi once said “You must be the change you want to see in the world. If I could change something in the world, it would be pollution. I would start off in my small town by pushing forward a recycling system, using technology in place of paper and pencil, and a community trash pick up.

One thing I would do is put forward the idea of a recycling program. Recycling is a benefit to both the environment and humans. Students can positively affect the environment by recycling. Recycling reduces the amount of trash in landfills. Less trash in landfills means less polluted ground.

Using technology like laptops instead of paper and pencil would also help cut down on the amount of trash. If paper sales start going
