Death penalty is used across the world today. Many people are put on death row to later be executed. This is a very controversial idea because many innocent people are killed. Rigorously, the cost, inhumanity, and torture, death penalty should be eliminated across the world.

There are many different types of executions. For example, there’s beheading, electrocution, hanging, lethal injection, and shooting in the back of the head. Majority of these ways are considered to be very inhumane and forms of torture. In the country of China, they hold their execution numbers classified. Excluding china, one thousand thirty two people were executed in 2016. (Masci 2). Years ago, the death penalty was abolished for many different reasons. It was later brought back. By the end of 2016, one hundred and four countries completely abolished the death penalty.
