Persuasive Essay On Zoos

When an animal is being threatened into extinction shouldn’t it be a good thing that we are putting them in a protected environment till they grow in population again? Are there any other ways to help the animals? Animals are getting hunted and some are getting to the point of extinction, to try and help the situation we put them in zoos or in nature parks till they regain their population. While most people see this as a good thing some still think that we should leave them in their natural habitats. Despite the fact that keeping the animals in their habitats would help the animals keep their way of life, we should still place them in these zoos and nature parks because, without proper care the animals will soon enough become extinct, zoos will release these …show more content…
They hunt each other for food. Also, poachers become a problem for animals because of their absence in population poachers will kill and sell them since they are becoming a rare species. Although hunting other animals has become a part of their routine, zoos will provide food for the animals, and they don’t allow poachers to kill any animals in or around the property. Zoos will release these animals once they get to a reasonable population. First zookeepers take care of the animals by feeding them and by making sure they are comfortable and happy. Then they start to breed the animals. Even though they don’t get to pick out their mating partner, it is the zoosjob to make sure they can get to that reasonable amount to where they can be let free.
Nature parks provide spaced out property for the animals to roam in. Unlike zoos where they keep the animals in a small locked in territory, nature parks keep the land open for the animals to roam freely -just not as freely as they would like-. Despite the fact that humans can aso roam the land,but with cars, humans don’t get to touch the animals and the animals are still free and they still get taken care
