In traditional schools, the summer break is too long for students, causing them the inability to retain the information they learn. With year-round school, there are breaks in the summer for three to four weeks, a longer winter break, and a week off in the spring and fall. These breaks are convenient for the students and teachers. The students will have time to spend with their families through the holidays, and be able to pick back up, right where they left off in their studies the following week.
