This image is very credible because it comes from a Major corporation called “The Nature Conservancy“ which is dedicated to protecting the rainforest. This image uses logos very strongly. In this advertisement the right decision is to help put an end to the destruction of the rainforests, although it may not not have that many words the image definitely speaks for itself there is defiantly chaos towards the back of that picture and it's pretty obvious that something needs to be done before it's too late. I Think this image does a great job making people realize that there is definitely something they can do to help and that doing something about this problem is the clear and obvious choice. Logos Pathos and ethos aren't the only rhetorical pieces this image uses.…

They hunt luxurious lions and exotic elk to decorate their homes or offices with the heads of the lives they took. They pay to go to an area, usually Africa or Canada, to shoot big game and keep the animal heads as trophies or their fur as rugs. In some places, this activity is illegal, like Kenya for example; however, many places allow these actions to occur, like in South Africa. CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) determines if hunting and trading of endangered species are legal or illegal. CITES is an agreement between governments to protect endangered animals and plants.…

But one of the center pieces for me is the graffiti that states “Don’t just be sorry, do something” and is “signed” by the animals. That picture is important because it tells us that we have to take action for these helpless animals, we can’t just watch from afar and send our sentiments by liking a Facebook post or blogging about it. Instead we have to take initiative and help our loveable animals across the world. Another centerpiece to me was the graphic that says “Mean people suck” with the wounded animals staring at the viewer, because it was such a powerful truism to me. I already knew that mean people suck, but when I see these powerless animals next to that statement it brings so much more meaning to me.…

It’s a very sad concept to fully understand because most people think, “Why would someone do terrible things to an innocent animal?”. Every day thousands of animals are brought to shelters because of the hardships that they had to go through during their life outside of the kennel.…

Animal abuse has been a constant, underlying issue in modern society for a long time. Hidden in plain sight, most people tend to ignore or miss the signs of animal abuse. This issue is addressed in the advertisements created by Mikayla Slom and Alexandria Wai at the ISF Academy. Designed to appeal to an audience of animal lovers, the two advertisements suggest that animal cruelty is hidden away in many aspects of our lives and aim to make the viewer take action. These two advertisements both convey their messages using short sentences, slogans and symbolism to make the viewer think about their own part in the problem and urge them to take action about the issue.…

For example, humans don 't realise that their everyday lives are build around these creatures; what we eat, how we breathe, and how our world develops. I myself never thought about a world without whales, manta rays, tigers, plankton and owls and how important they are in my life until I came across the documentary Racing Extinction and the book Sustaining Life.... This new documentary shows examples of the harmful effects that humans cause on the world. Things like climate change, black market sales and the vanishment of animals, has sent the 220 countries the documentary aired in, in an uproar.…
