Why go Vegan? Everyone knows that recycling, turning off the lights, taking your bike instead of your car to work are great ways to help the environment but by going on a vegan diet, it can reduce your carbon footprint effectively. By going on a vegan diet, it helps the environment because a person who's on a vegan diet produces 50% less carbon dioxide to a meat eater. It also helps the environment because it only takes 1/6th acre to feed one vegan for a whole year, but to feed a meat eater for a year it requires 18X as much. Another reason to become a vegan is because meat production is leading to climate change, soil erosion, water depletion and eating animal fats can lead to coronary heart
