This Wendy’s ad reels the consumer in with a curiosity, in which they are basically glued to so what is going on. Luring you in with music that is pretty creepy but draws in viewer’s attention. It doesn’t begin as a typical fast food ad but as in a fashion show. The show commencing yet its location seems to be in a non-typical venue. This ad was made mostly to get the consumer to think about having a freedom of choice and why they should choice Wendy’s over the computation. While this ad was aired in the late 1980 the United States and Russia had long been in a cold war. In which the United States feared of communism and anything they saw as communist was to be unaccepted. Yet cold war is when no actual fighting is being took place yet they are ready if it were to arise, always fearing that these world superpower nations to going to war. As well the need to satisfy curiosity, because in the begging of the ad it never leads you on to what is this commercial trying to sell to the consumer till they very end. In all I think the designer of this Wendy’s commercial hit to were the consumer soft spot was at the time period. So showing it as if you don’t want us to think you’re communist you should come to Wendy’s and choice how you would like your burger!
