Persuasive Essay On Volunteering

As I ponder on the possibilities of volunteering my options seem infinite. Thousands of agencies supply help through disasters whether that being protecting endangered animals, assisting communities suffering through a time of shock, or aid for families who are individually facing times of adversity. In my search for an agency, I wanted to find somewhere I could begin volunteering today. The American National Red Cross provides me with this best opportunity to start volunteering now. Deciding to volunteer for The American National Red Cross, I considered the thousands of lives they reach each year, the ability to gain experience while volunteering, and the reaping of long term benefits. I plan on donating and volunteering at Red Cross because of the vast variety of jobs that affect the lives of others no matter how great or small of a task. Given the opportunity to help others is the primary focus; however, inheriting the benefits of volunteering are to my advantage. There are dozens of benefits from volunteering such as: scholarships, experience, and a great addition for a job resume (Welcome Red Cross Employees and Volunteers). Just by giving back to society I am granted scholarships and more job opportunities through volunteering with Red Cross. As I learn new skills and gain experience, I will be helping people all across the United States. The Red Cross allows everyone to support each other during times of adversity and provide a platform for communities to get back on their feet.
