Turtles and tortoises are one of the many creatures that die while trying to cross a road. Scientist and wildlife lovers have come up with some ways to prevent the deaths of these animals to occur. However, they are still dying. Better fencing, I believe, is needed to keep turtles and tortoises out of the road and safe.
Some people believe that putting up fences and other echo passages will harm to cross the road. In the passage in paragraph 8, it stated," But the bigger failure was in the fencing. Along three kilometers of road, rips, holes, and washouts had caused 115 gaps. During the spring melt, up to 30 percent of the fence was submerged. And the other areas had been left completely unfenced ." This could be an arguable fact against my thesis, however, the fencing is old. It has to be replaced by better and more efficient fencing that will stop any animal from getting itself killed. …show more content…
