Persuasive Essay On Trash Is Wrong

Today, we can walk down the street and find a piece of trash about everywhere we turn. The trash that we can mostly see are fast-foods bags or cups, candy wrappers, Popsicle wrappers, empty bottles of water, and empty soda cans along with other small trash. Those items listed are the ones most frequently seen on the streets. Honestly, it really irritates and bothers me to see so much trash sitting around waiting to be picked up to be put inside the correct place, the garbage. When I get the chance, I pick up the trash in front of me and throw it away. Many times people that know me, question my actions about me picking up something I did not throw. It starts from very small actions, if I encourage others to pick up for themselves and to willingly help clean up after others then we can get more positive results. These actions could totally be translated as the second golden rule and help out the planet. It really hurts me to see trash floating on the water, I just wish I had a machine to suck up all the trash. I hate knowing that many aquatic animals die due to peoples’ poor decisions and taking the wrong actions, thinking they will not affect our ecosystems.
