Right now actually, there is an ongoing debate about what we should do with the Titanic. Salvage what we can or leave it where it lies?
Along with debators there are actually wealthy benefactors who are willing to sponsor trying to save the Titanic . But as with all gold, it can't all shine. If we could sucessfully recover this, it would be amazing. We could study about that precisely sunk the ship. Along with a huge financial oppurtunity. this could make the owners' a very large amount of money. Also against the graveyard argument. I live in a place where a huge civil war battle occured. So there are dead bodies in the ground everywhere. And if that doesn't suit you. Guess what? They give tours at Auschwitz. Well now you know the deal and my opinion, but in the end it is truly your decision on what side to take. The truth is, no matter what happens. Whether the ship is left in peace and slowly rots away, or if we salvage it and make the Titanic's history flourish again. One thing is certain, this sad disaster that brought the quick end to manys' lives should never be forgotten. Along with that we should forever respect the ones who died, and pity those who survived. I believe we should salvage what we can of the Titanic as a last respect of those who died. This debate about the Titanic is ongoing, let us hope results come soon. I think. there are many pros along with it and we should preserve the Titanic. In the end, no matter what you think, this sad day should always be remembered. I believe we should preserve the Titanic. Not only to preserve the ship, but also to preserve the memory. Please don't let it

Reflection When choosing a topic to create the multimodal rhetorical project it was fairly easy, The U.S.S. Indianapolis was recently founded on the ocean floor. My great-grandfather was on the Indy when the Indianapolis was sunk by a Japanese submarine. The objectives that were tried to be conveyed is that the Indy should not be brought to the surface, because where the ship is sunk is considered a grave site for hundreds of the United States sailors. I wanted to educate the audience about the story behind the sinking of the Indy and to inform the public and the families who lost loved ones over seventy years ago. The cost and the moral decision to lift the Indy from one of the deepest parts of the ocean would be very expensive, costing upwards…

According to Clifford, we should only hold beliefs that we have found sufficient evidence for by conducting an honest and patient investigation. He explains that beliefs are not something private we only hold to ourselves, instead our beliefs influence other people. For example, Clifford tells the story of a ship owner whose ship is going to take immigrants to another country, but his ship is old, so he's worried if it's seaworthy. He thinks he should get it checked, but then he thinks about the repair costs and pushes the doubts aside. The ship owner convinces himself that the ship has made many trips without any troubles, so it's fit for the journey.…

Many others believed that over time the ship would deteriorate even faster that it would on its own. Researchers believe they only have just about fifty years left, before the ship is non-existent. Ballard explains, “We went back in 2004 and did it all over again, and we can show you exactly where the submarines had landed, where they had crushed the deck, where they had knocked off the crow’s nest, where they pulled fixtures off the ship, and where they tried to break off the telemotor, all the debris, all the garbage that they left behind” (Carter). Today it has been one hundred and four years since the ship that served the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor set sail. The ship is slowly falling apart and will soon never be…
