Speed limits are put on signs on the side of the road for a reason. They do not need to be removed ever. They are there to keep all vehicles to drive at a safe speed and to keep all passengers and surrounding human beings safe while they're driving. When people speed, they can also get a $500 fine for endangering other vehicles driving by. They're there for multiple reasons such as safety, tickets, and saves gas. One of the reasons listen above for speed limits need to be keptis for the safety of other drivers and passengers in the vehicles. Imagine someone going 80 mph on a 40mph road, they can look down for a second and be in the opposite lane and hit another vehicle head one and could lead to multiple collisions. Getting a speeding ticket goes on your permanet record and you could get your license taken for it if you get so many tickets and you'll have to pay a fine to get your licenses back. Having your licenses should be a privilage, not a reason for you to go fast or indanger other people. My final reason to keep speed limit signs is that going faster uses more gas. Buying gas at almost four dollars a gallon can be pricey with a bad paying job and a gas guzzling vehicle. It'll will surely get tiring buying gas everytime you're out and about, especially if you're a travler. Meaning if your job is in a different county or city or you're traveling to see family or friends on a daily basis. In conclusion, I do not agree the the limitation of speed limits for the reasons of keeping the people in your surroundings safe, keeping yourself from getting tickets, and saving yourself a little bit of gas money. They're laws and put on the side of the road for drivers to follow along for different roads for a reason. To keep everyone and yourself
