Haven’t you thought about how unnecessary school uniforms are? I bet you haven’t. Well, it isn’t that big of a deal, or so you think. Picture yourself wearing one. It doesn’t feel like you now, does it? I think so too. Students shouldn’t be needing school uniforms because, one, school uniforms cost a lot of money. Two, the incidents of bullying in uniform wearing schools are 12% higher than the ones with no school uniforms. Lastly, it doesn’t allow individuality. School uniforms cost a lot of money. Trying to fix a damaged uniform may be difficult to repair considering the money. In York County, PA, a local NBC affiliate reported in Sept. 2014, that “Some children were missing classes because families couldn’t afford the required uniforms.” Now, if you think that school uniforms are here to help students, you are wrong. The cost of uniforms are expensive. That results in missing classes, which means that it will affect the student's education.

Yes, it may help them focus on education, but even so, if you wear a uniform, your distinct personality will stick out, meaning that you will be an easy target.
