I believe that teens shouldn’t go tanning in a tanning salon. About 17 percent of teens go to salons and the rest usually do outside tanning. The percentage of teen tanning is increasing very fast and it can make teens have skin problems. The government wants to ban teen indoor tanning because everything that can happen to them. There are many reasons why teens shouldn’t tan in tanning salons. Teens shouldn’t tan in tanning salons since they can get damaged skin, skin cancer, and burned skin.

Paragraph 2 The first reason I think teen tanning should be stopped is that they can get damaged skin. According to the article, it states that teens can damage their skin very bad. Teens usually go tanning once a week, and when they conducted to all the heat it can damage their skin. Teens don’t realize that tanning is bad for you and can damage your skin very bad. In tanning salons they might change how you can go tanning at a early age to only 18 and older can go tanning. The government might get involved with it.

About 75 percent of people that tan in tanning salons get skin cancer and it is hard to be cured. The article states that the younger you are, the higher the risk of getting skin cancer because the skin isn’t as used to the sun rays. UV lights are very powerful, and they can be very bad for your skin. The longer people tan, the worse the effects can
