This shows that genocide has been happening since December 1948 and is very cruel. Targeting people and killing them as a whole is extremely unfair because most of the people that are dieing are the innocent people because they have no way to protect themselves. In March 2016 the USA stated “so-called Islamic State (IS) was carrying out genocide against Christian, Yazidi and Shia minorities in Iraq and Syria”. Therefore many innocent people in Syria are dying because ISIS is killing people who are weakened or young and that have religions like Christians, Yazidis, Shia and anyone that doesn’t agree with them. They are humans and they are going through dangerous things in there country and i think every body deserves a chance and a piece of a free land and safe like US. And i think to keep humans safe is a humanity duty because we are all equal we are all together and i think every body deserves a safe place because if i was in there position i would really beg god to get me to a safe place.…

Due to the very respectable and reasonable viewpoints of each side, I am undecided as to whether the United States should accept Syrian refugees. For moral and humanitarian reasons, it is without question that our country, whom these helpless people view as a safe place, should accept them and provide comfort and protection. However, it is also reasonable that the United States does not want to put any of their citizens in danger, which may possibly accompany the refugees. Even if just one of the thousands of refugees is a terrorist or dangerous figure, that is unacceptable.…

    1) Today America is faced with a decision on whether or not they should accept the Syrian refugees to have refuge on American soil. In Syria, their homeland is in a state of turmoil and all they are asking is for some help. Similar to what the Jews had asked for in WWII during the holocaust. Can this be a repeat in history? It’s not wrong to compare what is happening with the Syrian refugees today to what had happened with the jews while the Holocaust was taking place.…

On January 27th, 2017, a mere seven days after the inauguration of our president Donald Trump, the Executive Order 13769: Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry was enacted. America cannot continue to say “us” and “them” because we are all one species sharing a planet. We must help the Syrian refugees out of the human compassion that everyone has. The opposing views of this issue must be able to agree that we must at least aid the refugees still overseas. The United States has already taken in 1,500 refugees and gradual increase in the amount of refugees resettled to the States would please both sides of the conflict. Gradual resettlement would begin with the states willing to take in refugees and then eventually, the rest of the states, as the states do not have actual control over a foreign affairs issue.…
