Did you know, That the 4th Amendment gives us as students of a U.S. public schools the right to be free from unreasonable searches. The school may search or test you for drugs if they suspect u have them they can search you but not strip search you. They can search your Locker if they suspect you have something you are not allowed to have in the locker. They should have parents permission to search our Backpacks, wallet, and personal computers have they have no reason to search it. Searching a student’s car in the parking lot, it should be okayed by the parent first before searching it.
If your school took something for you should your parents be allowed to come get it and have the choose to give it back or tell the school to throw it away, Or should the school not call your parents and tell them at all and just keep it. Should the school keep student property or give it to that parent and let them make that chose to give it back to the kid or keep it. …show more content…
