I am currently writing and informing you about a massive drug called steroids. Steroids are like a superman pill that helps you gain muscles extremely fast. There are many types of steroids, but all have the same meaning, they give an exceptional amount of energy that pushes you to work much harder. Steroids can be good and bad at the exact same time. It promises you more muscle, which is 95 percent of the time correct, but what it doesn’t tell you is that steroids can take a rough toll on your body.
All steroids have a downfall to them, some can hurt your kidneys, some make your heart very large, and some could make your body absolute shut down. I am a high school athlete right now and where I am from, they take steroids pretty seriously. If they so much as find a inch of antibiotic (steroids) in your system, you will be suspended indefinitely! Some bad things about steroids is acene, they give you massive mood swings, aggressive behavior, high blood pressure, heightened sex characteristics, and liver damage. The rate of steroids use for females playing high school basketball is 8.8 percent (“Are Students Taking Steroids”). In order to stop steroid use, coaches and parents must talk to their children early on about the effects.
