I have been the witness of anxiety, seen people get panic attacks, and even have a few transported to hospitals due to how severely they were frightened. With the likeliness of them occurring, it could happen anytime, anywhere. It is important that we regularly practice for such an outcome, but it is a bit embarrassing that even a society of educated individuals, cannot forget its ancestral tendencies of violence. Which also brings up another point to highlight. What is really the point for a regular citizen to have need for gun? Back in history, people may have needed it for game to hunt for wildlife, but now most of our stuff is processed so that can no longer be a reason why we need them. Another might say of danger, but that’s because these weapons fell in the wrong hands, and if we have a police force ready to protect us, why do we need them? Therefore, the only reason we do have them now is because of sport, and this sport has put many more lives in danger than it ever should have.
