It is true that some women don 't take enough caution in where they go or who they go with. Also, a woman should not be out on the streets or in bars alone late at night. Although some women might not make wise choices, it does not give men the right to take advantage of them. Women deserve respect. Since the beginning of time, men and women were created to love and respect each other. 9 out of 10 rape victims are known to be female (“Who Are the Victims?”). It is not common for females to sexually assault other females. This shows that a lot of women in America are disrespected by men daily. A woman is not going to put herself in dangerous positions because she’s seeking to be raped. Most of the time, women are not out on the streets late at night because they want to be. Some can’t afford public transportation and they are forced to walk home alone. The environment should not affect what happens to a woman. No matter in a home, a car, or a park late at night, men should choose to respect the woman and control their urges to sexually assault her. There are quite a few different reactions that a woman might have after being sexually assaulted. Sometimes it takes women months before the waves of emotions reach them. The brokenness that affects rape victims is completely the perpetrator’s fault. It is normal for people to consider a rape to be between a man and a woman.
