I currently live in Greenbrier, Arkansas, which is a small city of roughly 5,370 people. Since we have a somewhat small population, students know one another either by name or by face. However, If you were to ask me how comfortable I felt going to a public school in the 21st century, I would say extremely uncomfortable. According to Westword News, Parkland School is 208th school shooting since Columbine. Many sources say that in just 2018, America has experienced about 18 school shootings. Speaking on that statistic. it could be more or less. One school shooting should be enough to trigger the community to take action.
