In present day there have been more school shootings on average in the past three years then there has ever been since 1982. Mass shootings have tripled in the past three years according to Mother Jones web page. Many people asking the question, should guns be totally illegal to own or possess in any way? No, guns just need to be respected more and people need to be properly taught how to use them. Strict gun laws are the reason for these mass school shootings. Coming from a pro gun family; it absolutely amazes me how people think that taking guns away or making them illegal to own will result in less deaths by guns. As the famous quote goes “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”. Not once ever in my life have I had A gun try and shoot me without a human behind it. People just instantly jump to conclusions not thinking with common sense on how to solve the problem. Not even solving the problem just lowering the numbers more and more each year. More than likely preaching on how we need to control guns and take them away from americans. How about instead of taking them away; start teaching the young american how to respect the piece and the older american also. Also start arming teachers in schools. Turning them into a Pro Gun facility rather than being completely defenseless against any attack. My solution be for practically anywhere. Fully training a handful of teachers throughout the building on how to shoot and respect a gun would be the first step in solving this problem. Next would be equipping these teachers desks with biometric gun locks. A biometric lock is an extremely simple device. You have a mount on the bottom with a hollister fused to the mount which is bolted to where the user pleases. The hollister only unlocks to a certain amount of fingerprints, and will hold up to how many ever fingerprints you
