School shootings have become a daily scare to parents, children, and staff. School massacres opened society’s eyes that the one place children should feel secure, isn’t safe. Later with the horrific Sandy Hook massacre, schools all around the United States started places armed guards in all school systems. As the years went on and the chilling fear decreased, citizens voted that the schools protectors weren’t needed. Armed guards should be present in all schools. Every start of the school day kids, teachers, administrators and staff pile into the school. It is comfortable for any deranged person to blend in and fill out an unforgettable activity. Armed guards control the access in the schoolhouse. They are there to defend the school entrances and watch the people coming in and out. Armed guards are retired law enforcement. The children steal, cut class, smoke, and get into physical altercations. Keeping armed guards in school means more eyes on the students. The students will be less likely to try getting into trouble knowing they won’t get away with their desired actions. The students won’t be afraid of what the guards will act, they will be more cautious and have a chance to rethink their possible behavior. Lastly, parents are responsible for their children’s safety at home. Schools supervisors are responsible for the children’s safety at school. How will the teachers and staff know if someone dangerous has entered the school? Realistically, will they be able to protect the children? They wouldn’t have to worry about that if the armed guards are there. They would give everyone a sense of security. The instructors could teach with the doorways open.
