“Every man has the right to risk his own life in order to preserve it. Has it ever been said that a man who throws himself out the window to escape from a fire is guilty of suicide?”(Jean-Jacques Rousseau) In this country that we call America we are granted freedom. Our freedom is controlled by the U.S constitution and other laws made by the congress. A major law that is being debated whether it should be passed or not by a lot of states is the Right To Die Law. This law expands the freedom of all qualified terminally ill Americans to make their own end of life decisions,includes how they die. I agree with this law because no man should control the life of another human. If the person has no chance of surviving and they want to commit suicide, they should be given the right to do so. There is no reason why the family members of the dying American have to waste their money on someone who knows they are going to die. People should have the right to choose to end their own life based on the Right to Die Law when an ill American knows he/she is going to die.
