Religion, You are Not Welcome Here
In 1787 our founding fathers, convened a set of documents intended to protect the rights and liberties of American citizens, as well as delegate how America and its government should be operated. These documents are known as the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, which serve as basic guidelines for America and its democracy. Unfortunately, these rights and liberties are being withheld from some people who lead alternative lifestyles and make different life choices, and are denied these freedoms due to other people's Religious beliefs. This is not just gay rights movement this is the second civil rights movement. Former President Bush and his brother, Governor Jeb Bush created policies so that they could sleep well at night, knowing he wasn't responsible for the destruction of human life. President Bush’s actions halted medical research and could have saved many lives and found the cures to humanity's most deadlines diseases, his brother on the other hand denied the quality of life in the case of Terri Shiavo because he was prolife. We have people that follow Governor Jeb Bush’s views and influence on other people, without any regard or consideration for other people's equality. Society has yet to properly separate church from state, which clearly was our founding fathers intention, but yet we have retreated back to our theocratic ways and implemented shields like the RFRA, that gives individuals the right to abuse their power and discriminate against those who have different beliefs and lead different life styles. We should be promoting acceptance and toleration in our society, Because if we don’t it only slows down growth we are preventing the inevitable, why don’t we speed up the process and give those that are being labeled, criticized and branded as not normal, unnatural, being fags, and a violation of the Christian faith, to have the equal opportunity to pursue
